I am a qualified visual artist in the Netherlands who works with oil, acrylics and watercolor. I love the challenges of new media and new forms of expression. You can make your personal choice from the photos on this page, which lead to more examples and some information.

Portrait painting.

Is a lifelong passion, both on commission and in free projects. My latest project is:

'Portraits with stories'.

This series is about women from the past who have been 'forgotten' or erased from history. With each painted portrait I have made a short video in which I tell more about the life or an achievement of the portrayed. Unfortunately, the videos are currently only available in Dutch, but I am working on English subtitles.
